What is Salik?
Salik is Dubai's automated electronic toll collection system. Unlike traditional toll booths, there are no barriers, no cash collectors, and no need to stop.
The system utilizes Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. When you pass under a toll gate, the scanner detects your tag and automatically deducts the toll fee from your prepaid account.

How Salik Works
Enjoying Dubai's roads is as easy as 1-2-3. Follow these steps to get started.
Buy a Tag
Purchase a Salik tag online, at petrol stations (Eppco, Enoc, Adnoc), or Dubai Islamic Bank branches. Stick it on your windshield.
Top Up
Ensure your account has sufficient balance. Recharge via the Salik website, Smart Salik App, recharge cards, or petrol stations.
Drive Through
Simply drive through the toll gates at normal highway speed. The system detects your tag and processes the fee instantly.
